The Knee-High Naturalist program offers two, 1.5 hour, classes per month to pre-kindergarten students. Ages: 3-6 year olds (must be accompanied by an adult, no younger siblings allowed unless they will remain in a carrier the entire trip, no strollers please).

Kids Only Cupcake Decorating Class

April 13 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

In this hands-on class your child will be making vanilla cupcakes with butter cream icing. They will be introduced to the art of decorating with piping bags. Each child will decorate 6 cupcakes to take home to, maybe, share with family! Cost for this class is $30/child

Community Easter Egg Drop

April 13 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

This wildly popular event held before Easter each year at Sunset Park is a sight to see! Thousands of eggs stuffed with goodies for the kids are dropped from a helicopter hundreds of feet in the air, after which children run out on to the field to collect as many eggs as they can. This event attracts thousands of children each year, so get there early! Contact the Mauldin Recreation Department for more information
