The Knee-High Naturalist program offers two, 1.5 hour, classes per month to pre-kindergarten students. Ages: 3-6 year olds (must be accompanied by an adult, no younger siblings allowed unless they will remain in a carrier the entire trip, no strollers please).
In this hands-on class your child will be making vanilla cupcakes with butter cream icing. They will be introduced to the art of decorating with piping bags. Each child will decorate 6 cupcakes to take home to, maybe, share with family! Cost for this class is $30/child
This wildly popular event held before Easter each year at Sunset Park is a sight to see! Thousands of eggs stuffed with goodies for the kids are dropped from a helicopter hundreds of feet in the air, after which children run out on to the field to collect as many eggs as they can.
